Playing in the snow

Who would have thought we'd get so much snow in Texas! It began snowing before we woke up this morning and continued to snow all throughout the day. We went outside to play in it for a little bit. The kids had a blast throwing snowballs and rolling snow into a big ball. I'm sure they all went home to play in it some more! I hope everyone enjoys tomorrow's day off!

Challenge for my friends:

Use UPScheck to solve the problem below. Those who complete this and bring it in on Monday will get a no shoes during centers coupon.

John made 16 snowballs and his sister made 7. How many more snowballs did John make?

Our 100th Day of School

We celebrated our 100th day of school on February 5th! The kids had so much fun celebrating all that they have learned this year. Below is a slideshow of our fun filled day.
Question for my friends:
What was your favorite part of the 100th Day of school?

I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. Our class has grown so close and the kids have learned so much this year. I'm very proud of all my kiddos!

I promised the class that I would post the video of the kids singing happy birthday to me. This was a very special year, as the kids sung in English and Spanish. I'm not sure why the sound and video didn't synchronize on the English one.
